Archived: Meet another 1916 Bursary Awardee – Rachel Coffey

Only 1% of Irish Travellers progress to higher education; for Rachel, support from her local Traveller organisation – the Traveller Visibility Group and being awarded the 1916 Bursary has ensured she has realised her ambition to go to college. The PATH 2 1916 Bursary Fund was established to encourage participation and success by students who are most economically disadvantaged and who are from communities significantly underrepresented in higher education.
